More Than a Coffee Cup: BioPak's Indigenous Art BioCup Series

More Than a Coffee Cup: BioPak's Indigenous Art BioCup Series

June 30, 2026

Every takeaway coffee tells a story. With the BioPak Indigenous Art BioCup Series, that story extends far beyond the cup itself, celebrating Indigenous Australian culture, supporting talented First Nations artists and helping create opportunities for Indigenous communities across Australia.

Coffee Cups That Create Conversation

Originally launched in partnership with CorporateConnect.AB (CCAB) and Supply Nation, the Indigenous Art BioCup Series transforms an everyday coffee cup into a platform for education, storytelling and positive social impact. Each design showcases authentic artwork created by Indigenous Australian artists, encouraging customers to pause, appreciate the artwork and "have a yarn over a coffee."

Today, the range continues to evolve, with new artist collaborations introduced every six months, ensuring fresh artwork while giving more Indigenous artists the opportunity to share their stories with communities across Australia.

Supporting Indigenous Communities

Every Indigenous Art BioCup purchased helps make a real difference.

Sales from the range directly support CorporateConnect.AB's pro-bono programs, which focus on creating education, employment and economic opportunities for Indigenous Australians. Funds generated through the Coffee Cup Initiative have contributed to a wide range of community programs, including:

  • Indigenous youth employment pathways

  • Digital literacy and IT cadetship programs

  • Business mentoring and consultancy

  • Community leadership development

  • Financial literacy programs

  • Tender writing and business planning support

  • Work experience opportunities

  • Community fundraising and project support

These initiatives help strengthen Indigenous communities by providing practical skills, mentoring and opportunities for long-term economic independence.

Celebrating Indigenous Artists

The current Indigenous Art Series features artwork from talented Indigenous Australian artists, each bringing their own cultural stories and artistic style to the collection.

Recent featured artists include:

  • Davinder Hart — Inspired by Mother Earth, culture and sharing knowledge.

  • Kulka Fahey — Award-winning Aboriginal artist from Biripi and Worimi Country.

  • Amy Saunders — Proud Biripi woman whose artwork reflects family, culture and connection to Country.

Each collection offers customers an opportunity to experience authentic Indigenous art while supporting the artists and their communities.

Premium Performance for Everyday Coffee

The Indigenous Art BioCup Series isn't just visually striking, it also delivers the premium quality expected from BioPak.

Available in Single Wall and Double Wall options across a range of popular takeaway sizes, the cups are manufactured from responsibly sourced paper and are designed to perform across busy cafés, coffee roasters and hospitality venues. Depending on the range, the cups feature either industrially compostable or home compostable construction, offering businesses practical packaging solutions without compromising on presentation.

More Than Packaging

Choosing the BioPak Indigenous Art BioCup Series allows businesses to serve more than great coffee, it creates meaningful conversations around Indigenous culture, supports Australian artists and contributes to programs that help build stronger Indigenous communities.

For cafés and hospitality venues looking to make a positive impact, every cup served is another opportunity to celebrate culture, support community and inspire conversation.

Because every cup can make a difference.
